About this experience

Booking an experience includes all the materials needed during the class, plus your very own candle to take home afterward. During the workshop, you will get to pick your fragrance and your vessel, and then the instructor will guide you step by step on how to make your candle! Please note, we do not allow food during the experience. However, feel free to bring your favorite beverages to enjoy. Upon arrival you will be asked for proof of ID to checkin. Please note the price includes 10 guests however you can add up to 2 additional guests for $50 per person. This room does not hold over 12 guests.

Duration: 


Classes typically last about 45 minutes to an hour. Once the class is done, the candles take about 45 minutes to set enough for you to take them home. You can come back after those 45 minutes or any time before we close that day. We also hold your candles for up to 30 days, so feel free to come back another day to pick them up.


Cancelation/ Late Policy:


We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled booking. We understand that traffic and parking can be difficult in the area, so allow enough time for parking. We cannot accept guests into the class who are more than 10 minutes late; this is to ensure that they get the full candle making experience. If you are running late, we recommend rescheduling for another time or date. You can reschedule your class at any time if you need to. We offer guests full refunds for cancellation made up to 48 hours (2 days) prior to their class. For same-day or next-day cancellations, refunds will not be issued.


 


What to do while you wait:


While you wait for your candles to set, feel free to shop in our retail section and enjoy a 20% off discount. You can also explore the Coral Gables area. Some nearby restaurants we recommend: Craft Coral Gabkes for casual American dining, Luca Osteria for upscale Italian cuisine, or La Sandwicherie for a quick bite. Parking:


The closest parking to the Coral Gables location is located directly behind the store. The address to the public lot is 153 Argon Ave Coral Gables, FL 33134. It costs roughly $4.50 per hour to park in this lot and can be paid by using the Pay By Phone app. Please keep in mind if parking here you will have to walk around to the front of the store on Giralda Ave to access the building. Candle Land is a big pink building and we are located on the bottom floor. If the lot is full there is a parking garage located at 51 Aragon ave Coral, where is costs $2 per hour. The lot is about 2 blocks from our store. 

Age Requirements:


Due to safety measures, we reccomend an age of 10 years or older to participate in the class. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian signature. To ensure everyone’s safety, we do not allow children under the age of 10 in the workshop area.
